RAMBLE & ROSE — DELIVERY, REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY
Thank you for visiting my Ramble & Rose shop! I take enormous pride in my handmade accessories, curated Liberty London prints, and craftsmanship. Below are the statutory legal policies governing all purchases made through my checkout.
1. Order Contract & Pricing
A legally binding contract is formed only when I explicitly send you an email confirmation stating that your item has been dispatched. Prices are listed in GBP (£). Payments are handled securely using my integration partners. In accordance with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) regulations under PSD2, you may be required to verify your identity via your banking mobile application or an SMS passcode to validate card transactions.
2. Delivery & Shipping
I offer free standard shipping on all online orders with a total value exceeding £10 within the United Kingdom. Estimated delivery dates are non-binding operational windows. Ownership and risk of loss or physical damage to the products transfer directly to you upon delivery of the package.
While this website primarily processes orders for delivery within the UK, we love our international customers! To comply with complex post-Brexit EU tax laws (IOSS) and recent US customs regulations, all international orders must be placed through my official Etsy shop.
When you buy through my Etsy portal, local import taxes are calculated automatically at checkout, meaning your package will clear customs smoothly with zero surprise handling fees on delivery.
3. Your Statutory 14-Day Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have an absolute legal right to cancel an online order for any reason within 14 calendar days from the day you (or a designated third party) physically receive the goods.
How to exercise your right to cancel:
1. You must inform me within the 14-day window via email at hello@ramblerose.co.uk with a clear declaration stating your intent to cancel the order.
2. You must return the physical products to me in their original, unwashed, and completely unused condition at your own personal expense within 14 days of notifying me of your cancellation.
3. Upon receiving the returned items in acceptable condition, I will process a full refund of the product purchase price (including standard outward shipping fees, if any were paid) within 14 days.
Bespoke / Custom Exceptions: Please note that any items that have been customized, personalized, or made-to-order according to specific client modifications cannot be cancelled or refunded under change-of-mind rules unless they arrive structurally faulty.
4. Faulty or Misdescribed Items (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or does not match the product description provided on my website, you have explicit rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Within 30 Days: You are entitled to an immediate full refund upon returning the faulty item. I will cover or reimburse your return postal shipping fees.
- After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months): If a structural fault develops after 30 days, you are entitled to a free repair or a replacement item. If a repair or replacement is not viable, you will receive a full refund.
To report a faulty item, please contact me immediately at hello@ramblerose.co.uk with your order invoice number and digital photographs demonstrating the defect so I can issue your return labels.
5. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory rights that cannot be legally excluded under UK consumer protection laws. For all other instances, my total liability is strictly limited to the direct monetary purchase price of the specific goods ordered.
